Eyelash Extensions

Long-lasting lashes that blend perfectly with your own lashes. Comfortable, carefree round-the-clock glamour, week after week. You can shower, sleep, work out, even swim. Individual lashes are added to your top lashes only using a strong, safe glue.

Just like artificial nails, there is an initial charge for a "full set" of lashes. Then there is maintenance involved. You have to come back for "fill-ins" every 2-3 weeks for an additional charge. The time for fill-ins is very personal. Some people are a little rougher on their lashes than others, some grow faster than others, etc. We shed our lashes just like we do our hair so as we shed lashes and new ones grow in we need touch ups.

Can you wear mascara? It is recommended that you do not use it. There is an ingredient in the mascara deteriorates the bond. Most clients find that they do not need mascara. If you decide you need mascara, it must NOT be waterproof. Also, you must not use oil based products on the lashes, it will loosen the adhesive. You can easily find an OIL FREE eye make up remover.

Do NOT use any kind of eyelash curler on your set of lashes. If you feel your lashes are too straight to begin with you might consider have a lash perm before an application of lash extensions. Also, I recommend that if you have blonde lashes to definitely have them dye before an application of extensions.

Do not allow any water to come in contact with your new lashes for 2 hours after the procedure. Do not steam face, use steam bath, swim, or wash lashes with hot water for 2 days after the procedure. The adhesive takes 48 hours to set. Do not rub your eyes or lashes when washing your face. Be sure and use an oil-free facial cleanser. Gently pat lashes dry after cleansing.

Natural skin oils, rubbing, scratching and pulling lashes will shorten the life of your extensions.

The procedure takes 2-3 hours initially and then hopefully just around a half hour to an hour for touch ups.

Here is a picture of my very first client. On the left is what her natural lashes look like and on the right is with the lash extensions I applied. She is not wearing any mascara, she doesn't need mascara. The glue I used is black, so it helps to make her lashes look darker.
